The current campaign is part of the initiative BonnProfits consisting of the department for economic development in Bonn and the Sparkasse KölnBonn and is intended to individually inform, motivate and counsel founders of companies operating specifically in the sector of knowledge-intensive services. Successful entrepreneurs in Bonn were invited to advertise the start-up of businesses in the city of Bonn.
Among these founders, Andrea Rathmann-Schmitz Ph.D., Managing Director of the MEDAHCON GmbH in Bonn, was chosen to be part of the campaign. From September to December 2015, city light posters, triangle poster stands and promotional postcards were presented each for one week throughout the entire city, with the goal of drawing attention to the funding programs and promotional offers of the city of Bonn.
In the year 2008, the MEDAHCON GmbH was founded in Bonn as a service provider in the field of medical writing, medical journalism and medical support. Today MEDAHCON GmbH is an established and solidly growing company. The Managing Director, Dr. Rathmann-Schmitz, states about Bonn as a business location: “For me as a founder in the health care business and as a woman, Bonn is the perfect location: A growing health care sector for my company and subsidized full day care for my daughter.”
