Over the last years immense progress has been made in immunological research. In order to implement this knowledge into clinical practice the training of experts in the topics of translational immunology and infectious diseases is necessary. The new research-oriented English master’s course ‘Medical Immunosciences and Infection’ at the University of Bonn is aimed to fill this important educational gap and teach the vast knowledge we have in this area.

Starting in winter semester 2017/2018, the medical faculty on the Venusberg will welcome up to 20 new master’s students in one of the first study programs in this field of research in Germany. Since the excellence cluster ImmunoSensation is located in Bonn, the city offers young scientists best academic conditions.
